DECOCHEER project

[Concept making / Graphic / Music Production / Choreography / Direction]

Story and business conceptualized from  Cheerleading culture in Japan.  It debuted in a “Shogakukan” publication called “Puchigumi”. It promotes real life cheerleaders, our original cheerleading unit aka “DECO Cheers”, and our cheerleading comic, “”DECOCHEER WIN!”.

DECOCHEER Win!  (Manga)

“DECOCHEER WIN!”, a cheerleading and sporting comic was published on Puchigumi in July 2010.  Chikako Mori, a popular comic writer hired for this title, creates the fashionable and sports active story with touch comedy.

2010年7月より出版大手小学館の5歳から9歳をターゲットにした児童誌「ぷっちぐみ」にて、チアリーディングを題材とした女の子向けスポーツマンガとして「デコちあWin!」が連載スタート。人気漫画家のもりちかこ先生を起用し、ファッションとスポーツとギャグを交えたチアマンガを展開。

DECOCHEERS (Idol group)

DECOCHEERS is an idol group formed to campaign cheerleading culture and DECOCHEER project.  They introduce fashion and music essence cheerleading culture through appearance in various media and events.

デコちあプロジェクトをスタートするに当たり、5歳から12歳のメインターゲットにチアリーディングの普及を目指す為のプロモーションとしてアイドルユニット「デコチアーズ」を結成。デコチアーズは、チアリーディングを通してファッションやミュージックなどのカルチャーをメディアやイベントを介して、みんながあこがれる存在として情報発信をしていきます。

Cheerleading culture pick up

Puchigumi started an article series of cheerleading in October 2009.  The series introduces and explains the sport, fashion, and lifestyle involved in cheerleading.  It also features cheerleaders across Japan.

2009年10月より出版大手小学館の5歳から9歳をターゲットにした児童誌「ぷっちぐみ」でチアリーディングの普及を目指し、デコチアーズを起用した誌面連載がスタート。チアリーディングの解説やチアファッション、そして全国のチアリーダーのインタビューなど幅広く活躍しています。
